This actually works Purchased a Marshalltown VS792 Vacuum Sander with hose. Frankly I figured it was a waste of money as I had tried some other gadgets to reduce the dust in sanding sheet rock. I connected this vacuum sander up to a 6 hp shop vacuum and "wow" it actually worked. Recommend it. Made in USA! Very happy with this tool, the design and features are well thought out. I used it on over 1200 sf. of drywall including a light sanding of the texture, perfect job. Keep the filter clean in your shop vac, this type of dust chokes them out pretty quick. Drywall Hanger's Dream Anyone who will be hanging drywall should own the Marshalltown VS792 sander. It accepts standard sanding screens, is nicely made, and does what the manufacturer claims. But, best of all... no dust mask and easy cleanup. Requires "elbow grease" This is a nice sander--better than similar models I've used. It's ergonomic and simple. Using it (or anything similar) can be difficult work, but it sure beats the price of a power drywall sander for someone who won't be using it every day.
