Lives up to its claim and reputation Great tool. Very versatile and easy to use. Much more effective than most standard weed whackers.
Worx WG150 Cordless line trimmer/edger I am 63, and wanted a light weight cordless for two reasons, one to reduce my carbon foot print to help our environment and two the gas models were too heavy and I wanted a light weight cutter. The Worx WG150 fit the bill for both. It has adjustable handles so you can find a comfortable grip for cutting. I don't have a lot of area to trim so this unit will do all I have on one battery charge. It does not compare however to a gasoline driven weed eater when it comes to power. The Worx cuts great with a fully charged battery but the cutting capacity goes down as the battery charge goes down. I got a spare battery so if I needed to use it longer I could swap out the battery. After you use up about 3/4 of the battery charge it is useless. Some have complained about having to frequently recharge the battery or say the battery has a short charge life but I have found if you follow Worx's instructions and fully discharge the battery before recharging that it last a long time. It is a pain in the butt to stand there and hold the trigger long enough to discharge the battery however.
Satisfied customer Worx GT is a great unit. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I used to spend 45 minutes edging my yard and now it takes about 10 minutes and yard looks great.
Great Yard Tool I had some hesitation about an electric trimmer. 18 Volt seemed a little weak since all my tools were 19.5 Volt. When I got the trimmer I was pleased with the construction and materials. The features are great and it is light in weight and easy to handle. I can do a lot of my trimming with one hand. The features functon as they are designed to and are easy to change. It is very user friendly. Make no mistake this tool is for fairly light jobs. I have about an acre yard to take care of and must use my gas trimmer for some of the tougher jobs. This tool still saves me a lot of time and energy. They only drawback I have is with the battery. In todays age of super volt batteries this could have been supplied with a stronger battery. The battery charger/tool rest works good. The run time is just a little short. As I said I have almost an acre and must do my trimming in battery cycle intervals. I strongly recommend that you purchase the additional battery as a back up. This I have done and I now complete all jobs quickly. One problem I did note was that after trimming and discharging the battery fully it seemed very warm. The battery would not re-charge until it had cooled to a reasonable temp. for the charger to kick in. This was somewhat frustrating but solved with the additional battery. All in all I would highly recommend this tool. Especially for the ladies that work the yards.
