 Blows dust everywhere, but sands pretty well I gave this two stars because it specifically advertises that it captures sanding dust with its "cyclonic" action. The only thing it does in a cyclonic action is blow dust all over your room. From a sanding perspective, it does a good job and the tip will get into tight areas.  Love this little tool! Bought this to refinish our oak dining table. The table has curves and grooves in its design and the small attachment is very helpful. Couldn't have finished project without it. For the price what's not to like? I have used this tool for several detailed sanding projects and have been pleasantly surprised at the versitility and ease of use. Very quiet too compared to other sanders I own. A very innovative product that, for the home hobbyist, can save a great deal of money versus buying several specialized sanders.  Nice machine, but... This is my very first power tool and I like it a lot. It works very well overall. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the tip, which is detachable, started cominging off after only a few uses. If I want to sand with the tip, I have to use a whole new piece of sandpaper to hold it in place. Once the tip part wears out (and it's always the first part that does) and I try to put a replacement sandpaper tip on, it (the diamond-shaped tip on the actual sander) keeps falling off. Other than that, it's great. | |||||||||
