 It works. This is a very nice product. I cleaned up my entire yard in about 30 minutes  B&D Pole Saw Good power & just enuff reach for normal stuff. I have 2 minor gripes, otherwise it's great - it's a'lil heavy, but not excessively & it would be great if you could also use it as a hand saw as well. Black & Decker Pole Saw This saw chews through branches and limbs. The charge does not last as long as it should, but it will impress, how it really chews the wood. Great tool! I'm a single woman with lots of old trees that needed trimming back from my house and garage. I'm intimidated by heavy chainsaws, plus not wild about climbing up on a ladder with one. My son isn't available very often to trim trees for me, so I decided to try this pole saw. I could hardly wait for the battery to charge overnight to give it a try. When I did, I was able to clear out in one evening a fourth of the tree limbs that had been bothering me for years. I've even cut down a small tree with it. The only complaint I have with it is that the battery runs down pretty quickly, after an hour or two, but I have to admit that I do, too. This could be alleviated by ordering an extra battery. I'd definitly recommend it. I'll probably buy the cordless weed eater next; I understand the batteries are interchangeable. But first I have to trim my friends' trees. | |||||||||
