 very good pros great air flow stable base wont tip even in your truck VERY QUIET 1700 rpm motor cons the only one is 77lbs its heavy  Great Machine! After enduring cheap, loud, and annoying compressors, I figured it was time to save my ears and nerves by investigating and purchasing a quiet and portable replacement. This is a great product and is truly quiet and efficient. It is somewhat heavy, but manageable because of the well padded and placed carrying handle. I decided to handle the extra weight which I feel is offset by the added features (higher capacity, twin gauges and outlets) as compared to Makita's lighter MAC700 model. The compressor arrived in pristine condition and without any shipping damage. Extremely quiet I am very impressed with how quiet this compressor runs. A negative is that it weighs a lot and is difficult to move around. We built a cart for it and we are very pleased with its dependability. Everyone else was right This compressor arrived within three days of my order. The air filter riding in the loose bag of parts had a nice dent, but otherwise everything arrived safely. This thing is heavy, but extremely quiet. We were using my son's DeWalt twin stack to re-roof my house. It was not only noisy, but tended to walk itself into corners. The Makita delivers sufficient air to run two staplers, doesn't move an inch, and is not nearly as loud as my 12-year old daughter. And Amazon gave me a nice discount for the dented air filter, which I repaired and used on the unit. This is my first Makita tool, and they are only one packaging engineer and one tech writer away from a 5 star rating. | |||||||||
