Great Little Compressor Great Quit Compressor. I am residing my house an using it to run the framing nailer and it has worked great. It does seam a little heaver then the 30 lbs that is in the specs but is a lot quiter then my sons pancake compressor. excellent compressor great for the small tasks and blew my mind the first time i used it as to how how quiet it was. love it BUT love this compressor its put out great air for its very small size its is so very quiet 1/4 the noise of porter cable pancake compressor(really) if your looking to spend less than $200 buy it its very good but the problems with it are SHIPPING they get here broke it is top heavy can flip its very heavy for its air output not bad air just heavy for the amount of it it will handle a framer it will handle a texture hopper 2/3 trim guns weak for blowing off a deck but can be done a great compressor if you add a 10 gal extra air tank when you need more air it would have 5 stars if it were 40 lbs and didn't tip over shipping is not makitas deal Surprise! Arrived damaged I will have to echo what others have said. My Mac 700 arrived damaged with a cracked crankcase cover. Not packaged well enough for it's weight and very vunerable to damage. Makita has a problem here! Why make a great product (so I've heard) and not protect it properly for shipping? I sure would love to see for myself how well it works.
