 great product Used it for a road trip with children. Worked great, fan was very quiet. Small enough to fit into arm rest storage.  Works okay The inverter's green on light never did work but it was not worth the hassle sending it back for replacement. It is not fused so not sure how it is protected. I use it to power a laptop in a 2 year old van. Works fine using the front van plug in, inverter sounds a low voltage alarm when using the rear plug in. Possibly a voltage drop between the plug ins. Great product for the price I replaced an older inverter with this one and it is not only smaller, but quieter as well. Easy to install and all in all great value for the dollar. Awesome inverter I would have given 4 stars but it wouldn't be fair. The reason i wanted to give 4 stars is that while placing this item between driver's and passenger seat, it is a little inconvenient to connect the inverter to the 12v DC. But other than it's an awesome product. One of the trips, I didn't have a car charger for the nintendo DS, and forgot to bring my car charger for my mobile. But i had the power adapters for both and plugged right into this inverter. This inverter charged both at the same time without any overload issue, and my mobile was always completed charged with this turned on. If you are on the road most of the time or like to do camping, go for the 400W rather than the lesser priced 200W. | |||||||||
