Hitachi C10FSH 10-Inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser

 Good chop saw Its pretty nice, but the laser does not align with the saw cut and NO instructions on how to adjust!! I have a Craftsman 10 Radial arm saw using the same 60 tooth Freud blade and it (craftsman) saw cut is rough compared with the Hitachi cut. Miter's join very well!! great saw this saw worked great for me all the way till it got stolen. i never had so much acuracy with finish grade crown and base as i did with this chop saw. my only beef is that the laser sight isn't worth a damn unless it's either dark, or a really clowdy day. next time i'm gonna buy the one without the laser sights. Hitachi C10FSH An excellent choice I purchased the Hitachi C10FSH about a year ago after much research into the different brands available. After researching brands like DeWalt, Rigid, Ryobi, Craftsman, and a few others, I made the decision to go with Hitachi. Over the past year I have used this saw many times for many different projects from simple shelving to picture frames and onto cabinets and furniture that I custom designed for my house. This has been by far the best saw that I have ever used. The laser is accurate right out of the box and the micro-adjustment lets you set the laser to your cutting preference. Yes the laser does dissapear once you lower the saw to start cutting, but if you dont move your work piece you know where it's going to cut. I also read some reviews that stated that the laser is hard to see if you are in bright light. Yes it is, but when I got out my "RED Lens" glasses that came with my laser level and put them on, the laser line was much easier see. And they make great safety glasses as well. I would recommend this saw to anyone that asks. And as a result of using this tool I have since purchased other Hitachi power tool and have had equal success and satisfaction from them. All of my Hitachi tools have been worth every penny spent, and there are others that are much more expensive.  Great Saw Order the saw on Friday and got it on Tuesday! The saw works very smoothly. Recommend replacing the stock blade right away. I put an eighty tooth unit on mine and it cuts smooth as glass. The tool has already saved me several hours on the job. A laser on both sides of the blade would be nice but none of the sliding compounds that I am aware of have that feature. | |||||||||
